1)such as与 like不同
2)平行/s-v agreement
such as与 like不同
表示“举例”“比如”，只能用such as，用like一定错!
Like只能表比较
Such as具体用法
a. A such as B
b. Such A as B
注意：
1. A-B平行
2.谓语动词与A保持主谓一致!
3. AS后面只允许加名词(包括动名词，to do)

A ：like 不能表示举例，只能表示比较，此处应该用such as ; cultivating ,the harvesting, exploiting 不平行
B：Correct;harvest做名词时有三个意思：收获、产量、成果，harvesting仅有收获的意思，从OG12的解释中看来，GMAT并没有区分harvest与harvesting，两者都可。
C：LIKE 改为 as; and basing it应该出现在主语动词之前，和Building on civilizations并列;后面the cultivation ，harvesting fish and seafood，the exploiting of 不平行
D:后面不平行，exploiting破坏了平行;没有必要新开一个分句，显得很累赘。
E LIKE 改为 as，such…as 用于举例说明 ; they exploited 想跟they based平行，那harvest前要加and ! based it on “their cultivating”表达拙劣(介词+one’s doing往往是很拙劣的表达)
