西楚
西楚(前206年-前202年)是中国历史上继秦朝之后出现的政权，为鲁公项羽所建(今江苏宿迁)，因建都于西楚重镇彭城，故国号“西楚”。公元前206年四月，西楚名义上统一了秦朝末年疆域的绝大部分地区。其后，在楚汉相争中，公元前202年项羽兵败自杀身亡后，西楚被刘邦所灭。刘邦统一全国，是汉朝的第一位皇帝。

West Chu (206 B.C-202 B.C) was a regime occurred after the Qin Dynasty in the Chinese history and founded by Xiang Yu who was respectfully called Lu Gong. With its capital set in the city of Peng in west Chu (the current Suqian in Jiangsu province), the national title of this period is "West Chu". In April 206 B.C, West Chu nominally unified most of the Qin Dynasty territory. Subsequently, Xiang Yu was defeated in the competition between the states of Chu and Han in 202 B.C.
