《大堰河》

Da Yanhe
Da Yanhe is a poetry anthology created by Aiqing, a distinguished Chinese poet. It is a collection of 9 works, such as Da Yan He--My Nanny. It was completed in 1936. The whole collection has four sections. The author recalls his memories of gratitude and praise towards Da Yanhe, an impoverished female farmer. Consequently, the works arouse sympathy for the tragic fate of the old working women in China and the intense resent for the "Unfair world".
