《倩女离魂》

The Yuan Dynasty drama, Qian Nv Li Hun (full name--Mi Qing Suo Qian Nv Li Hun), is a characteristic work of Zheng Guangzu. It is adapted from the legendary novel written by Chen Xuanyou, Soul-leaving Records, from the Tang Dynasty. It describes the spiritual agony of females under the suppression of feudal ethical codes and rites.
