《玉茗堂四梦》
《玉茗堂四梦》又称《临川四梦》，是明代剧作家汤显祖所著四种传奇剧本的合称，即《邯郸记》、《还魂记》(即《牡丹亭》)、《南柯记》和《紫钗记》;其中以《邯郸记》和《牡丹亭》的成就最高。因作者汤显祖是江西临川人，所居书斋名玉茗堂，四剧中都有描写梦境的情节而得名。

The Yu Ming Tang Four Dreams
The Four Dreams of Yu Ming Tang, also known as Lin Chuan's Four Dreams, is the general term for the four legendary scripts created by Tang Xianzu, a Ming dynasty playwright. The scripts included in the collection are Han Dan Record, Huan Hun Record (i.e. Peony Pavilion), Nan Ke Record and Zi Chai Record. Of these, Han Dan Record and Peony Pavilion are the most widely regarded.It is named after Tang’s study, the Yuming Hall.
