高腔是汉族戏曲四大声腔之一，起源于江西弋阳，是明代弋阳腔与后来的青阳腔流变派生形成的诸声腔剧种。其表演质朴、曲词通俗、唱腔高亢激越、一人唱而众人和，只用金鼓击节，没有管弦乐伴奏。2006年列入国家级非物质文化遗产名录。

The High-pitch Tune, one of the Han nationality's four great characteristic melodies, originating from Yiyang of Jiangxi, is derived from the Yiyang Tune of the Ming Dynasty and the later Qingyang Tune. The performance is simple, the lyrics are easy to understand, and the tune is high-pitch and intense. As well as easily followed, the music is easily followed, so when one person sings, others will follow. High-pitch Tune uses only the golden drum and needs no orchestral accompaniment. In 2006, it was put on the National Intangible Culture Heritage List.
